Oh hey, should we be voting on this now?  I totally vote "yea."  I
don't know what's involved in filing for a trademark, though.  I'm
also in favor of "libpurple" being all lowercase everywhere.

I vote yes, and agree with Mark regarding the no-caps nature of libpurple.

Having done it before myself for Asterisk and Digium, I might be able to offer some insight, but if there were just one bit of advice I'd give it's be absolutely 100% sure you do it right the first time because fixing it is a huge huge mess.
